Perfect Amiga conversion. Top quality AGA gfx/audio perfectly emulating original arcade.
A great (un)official release with only one big fault: no 2 players mode, single player only!

A shame that this game was never officially released, since it is one of the best platformers on the Amiga.

I voted 10 for this; an arcade perfect, superbly playable, fun experience. We spent 3 weeks dedicated to smashing the game in the Super League compo, and having done so, was a great and rewarding feeling. Double Thumbs Up!

The reason why this game was not released in 1991 probably will never see the light of day but I think that you can guess that the problem would have been with lack of two player option. "Snow Bros", as sort of a "Bubble Bobble" clone, would not be a real competitor if there wasn't a possibility to play with your "bro". Graphics and music are nice, the gameplay is a bit repetitive and there are not so many pick-ups to collect but you can give this game a try.

Sorry guys, but this Snow Bros conversion isn't a so much "brilliant" work. Yes, it is clearly impressive with nice musics, cute graphics and smooth animation. But this game called Snow "BROS" doesn't include the multiplayer option, and that's really a shame. With the ability to play with a friend like in the original, this unreleased game would have been brilliant. By the way, a wonderful experience for one player

The unreleased Amiga version of Snow Bros demonstrates exactly how conversion to the Amiga should have been and rarely were: visually and sonically superior to the original and as much as playable (except for the lack of 2 players option, as other noticed it is a big fault. I wonder if it was to be implemented at a later development stage). As a very nice conversion of a great game, Snow Bros is still easily one the best game of its genre on the Amiga (8/10).

I enjoy playing this game using auto-fire but without it gets rather tiresome.

Why was Ocean France so much better than UK ocean! This is amazing. Full smooth scrolling nearly arcade perfect conversion. Its a sight to behold and it just goes to prove that the Amiga could handle arcade style games as long as it was being done by the right team. In this case Ocean France. Brilliant and a real shame it wasnt released. It kicks the Sh!te out of the overrated methane bros.

This is a fantastic conversion that is virtually identical to the coin-op and has a few extra bits (an intro, loading screens, extra music, etc). In short: it's another brilliant job from Ocean France. Why this wasn't released is beyond me. Even without the simultaneous two player mode (as present on the arcade version), this would have made it into the Amiga's history very easily...
Easily on par with Ocean France's own PANG! And Toki conversions, this truly holds its place amongst the Amiga's finest arcade conversions.

Awesome conversion.
Almost 1:1 faithful to the original.
Don't miss it!

A fun arcade conversion that would probably have gone down well had it been released when it was intended to be. However the lack of the arcade's two-player mode hurts it badly and there perhaps isn't quite enough variety or character to hold your attention for that long.

Excellent conversion. Pity that it was never released. They really did a really neat job converting the original. Chould be a hit on the Amiga.

The game was not published because Ocean didn't had the legal rights
to market it. Pure and simple.

I've tried this, it has a great gameplay and it's quite addicting, and the conversion is very good too (I've tried the original on the Mame). I think this and Rodland could stand for the best single-screen/two player platforms on the Amiga. What a pity this one was never released...

Very good game.

Very good game, addictive like similar games of its style. But what makes me mad is the soundtrack. So I prefer its competitors, like Parasol Stars or Rodland.

Playability is really good, and the overall making is neat. Excellent conversion and the quality is better than the Amiga version of Bubble Bobble. I don't know why they never released it. Maybe it was too close to Bubble Bobble... That or some legal problem. An excellent game!

This game was supposed to be released in 1991, but never got published. Snow Bros is a very good arcade conversion, and if you like Bubble Bubble you'll enjoy this game as well!
