This is a quite odd and unique, single player progress-based (although there is a two players option too), one on one fighting game.
Ok, it's true that this game has gameplay issues, but I think most gave up on this game before...how to say it...cracking it. Personally I loved the graphics style (mind you, the style) of the game, and the animation is good (especially of the main game character). The movement in the game felt very fluid to me. Yes, the quality of graphics is uneven, but on many places the skill is quite visible. And the music is very good. I think most of use would enjoy playing a fighting game like this if it didn't have its gameplay quirks.
But what adds a lot to the gameplay are special sub-levels after each fight which feature a different challenge to solve, like fish collecting after fight 1, or scorpion dodging after fight 2. I reached fight 4 against two punks with bottles after some practice. Still a mystery to me, but I'll crack it. Anyway, that's the best thing about this game. Each new fight introduces something new in the gameplay, and each new sub-level is a new challenge to learn and solve. Yeah, it's way too easy to win in fight 2 (Wang Chong) and 3 (Whip Lady), but I already admitted the problems in the gameplay. The gameplay indeed is imperfect, but not so much to make the game unplayable or boring. There is plenty of other things that make it interesting and original.
Don't forget to visit the dojo with F3 on main menu.

The sloppy controls + the unfair gameplay make this trash-on-a-disk almost unplayable. But who wants to play this turd anyway?
