I remember looking forward to playing the demo version of this after seeing the screenshots, but I hated it! I seem to recall my ship blowing up after coming into contact with that well known explosive substance - smoke from a household chimney...

This was very intricately detailed version of the old gravity based games. Had a cover disk demo of it and was highly impressed but never found it in a shop subsequently! Graphics were top end and it seemed quite playable.
