I bought this on a whim, I think I was in a computer shop (as opposed to a games shop) with my Dad, and they didn't have much. He was buying a computer or peripheral, and I took the chance to grab something.
It was too simplistic to be impressive as such, and in some ways wasn't really my kind of game (things like Pacman, Space Invaders etc are generally too basic for me). But I did end up spending a decent amount of time on it and look back on it fondly now. The controls are tight so it's a good game of skill, it's always your own fault when things go wrong.

Car-Vup offers a platforming experience that is uncommon, even though it's a complete rip-off of City Connection by Jaleco. It's nothing to write home about but it plays well and is worth a few plays if one appreciates platform games (6/10).

It reminds me City Connection by Jaleco, but I prefer the original one.

Wacky idea, when you're a car trying to highlight some weird platforms and avoid at the same time even crazier enemies! However it provides some decent fun, maybe not for long. This game does it job as another impossible to beat one disk game

In fact this is nothing spectacular. In my opinion this is even one of the weakest Core Design games. It is very reptitive, sometimes iritating. Graphics are nice, music too but the gameplay... Little kids might enjoy it for a while. Average.

One of the first Amiga games I owned, but a very good one. This was worth the money spent. Good memories.

Repetitive--yes. But it's fun for a while.
7/10

This game looked like it might offer something decent in the way of game-play in the magazines of the day however it's was very limited in that area. It comes across as a very lazy/talentless piece of software - much in the same vain as Zool and James Pond series - avoid!

Booring! No music and repetitive as hell! The monsters would always surround me when I was caught under a low beam. It was impossible to jump over them, cuz they would simply just jump as well!
Keep this game away from me!

I recall my bro playing this non stop! I had a few tries but wasn't my cup of tea really. Still, he was damn good at it and it was a fun game to watch!

Thoroughly enjoyable. Shame the final boss was impossible to beat.

Simple arcade fun; nothing amazing but a little bit different to the norm.

This was OK but nowt special about it as other games on the market, same genre were getting the limelight instead. It was OK though to play

I recall getting quite into this game. It kept me at it for quite a while. It's quite fun and cute - I know that sounds bad! The levels gradually get harder and more interesting.

To be honest, I couldn't see the point in this game - It seems fairly repetitive and I lost interest after a few plays. It's brave to make this slightly different from other race games, but I wish they hadn't bothered. Average!

Nothing spectacular, but it's a nice twist on your average platform game, and quite charming for a while. Probably one of Core's best games.

*Sweet* jump'n'run-pacman clone starring the car of Roger Rabbit.
AWESOME Title song, which made me want to say: "Yo! Fresh!"
