The problem with this game is that once you complete the level it loops and it's not very long. The power up you gain is taken away too then. It's short and pretty much pointless.

Nice parallax and good sounds, but only 1 life. Get hit and it's game over.

I own Zitrax, but that does just mean I bought it as part of a cover CD-ROM of a games magazine sometime around 1996. I never played it. By the looks of it, it is a simple freeware, run-off-the-mill shoot 'em up. I've seen too many of these to be interested in yet another one.
