I second what Kai said. From the "dungeon crawler" point of view, sequel is very dark and mystical. Offers much better graphics but a bit of an annoying sounds (there is also no option to choose a music instead so this is a disadvantage). The interface changed - is a bit more intuitive but lacks some things. The authors also decided to lose the "adventure" part when you were traveling on the map from town to town in order to find quests. Here everything is much way straightforward and it basically looks like "Ishar" series. This is a downside, I must say (although I love "Ishar"
