I appreciate the effort put into the menu and ingame graphics, which near the level of the arcade. The title music is good too. Sadly, the low framerate is inacceptable. It is not a smooth experience. This detracts greatly from what could have been a decent conversion. The framerate on the Atari ST is better.

Only played the demo (from Amiga Power) but really liked it. Scrolling was choppy but it played well, and the 90-degree turns were a laff.

What a whacky game! Is it a race or a chase? So many cars (you gotta honk at them!) and so little time; in order to win the race you absolutely cannot hit a single thing! The graphics are nice but the scrolling is so choppy.

The turns are difficult and the engine is rather on the slow side at 50fps. At 60fps is ok but the time is very tight and levels are too difficult. If the time was a lot longer this would have been much more fun.

Such a crappy, jerky, awful game... How I regretted buying this.

Not the best racing game but it's o.k. Nice gfx, nice sounds. Let's chase the cars...

Maybe its in support of the underdog. But I love this game... Its fun and its colourful. It's a crazy racer with massive jumps and tight corners. At the end of the day I had more fun with this than I did with say the dull Jaguar XJ220. Not saying its a better game than that, Just saying I had more fun with it. Of course the lotus games (meaning lotus 2) are the best racers on the amiga bar none.

Playable but should have been smoother like the lotus games

I actually got this but the disk seems to corrupt at the title screen. Bit of a bugger really as it looked good at face value.

Predictably mediocre Jaleco driving game, like Big Run - worth a shot on a demo disk

Now that I'm to see some of the conversions that ICE did of arcade or Arcade style games, didn't realise it was so significant...ima thinkin they must have been a cheap option...generally their conversions of EVERYTHING on the whole tended to be of poor quality and uninspired...
That accepted... This personally was MUCH better than the arcade version, although the 90 degree hook turns on major corners every so often were a real pain...think this is bad... Check out the 64 coversion of CISCO HEAT...
RATING....63/100 For Mine....

I had a bit of fun with this one (not much mind). It's not too bad but I hardly play it. It just doesn't sit quite right with me. I like the style of the graphics, but it just doesn't feel involving enough, and those 90 degree corners-strange.

Cisco Heat contains mediocre graphics, not so good sound (the in-game music is quite awful) and awful gameplay. The game plays very slow, shocky and it's anything but realistic. Avoid!
Graphics: 7/10
Sound: 5/10
Playability: 4/10
Overall: 4/10
p.s.: and having to change gear with the space bar while the fire button is used for... The horn!

Hmm I remember this vaguely and to be quite honest I didn't like it at all, it was a terrible conversion from the arcade. The game is very similar to that of Big Run, go n check it out...

Nobody really needed Cisco Heat on the Amiga, but... Not only they chose to port it over, but they converted it so badly it still hurts. Not a wise choice, definitely...

A mediocre racing game with only token simialrities to the mediocre arcade racing game it's supposed to be a port of.

Obviously with all that Heat in San FranCisco the programmer forgot to wear deodorant (true, which programmers do wear deodorant!!). THIS GAME STINKS. And quite ironic, seeing as it was developed by the extremely cool ICE.
