Maybe psygnosis had lost interest in the Amiga when they did these appalling film licences or maybe they weren't given enough development time.
Whatever reason this game looks so bad and amateurish in every department.
Where was their pride? Seems like it had vanished by 1994...

Too bad the game suxx big time. Because the movie is quite good ...

There where shareware and pd games at the times that where better executed ...

Seeing this one could begin to believe Sony wanted to blame other systems after buying out Psygnosis by releasing crappy games ...

Shame on you Psygnosis. And I say it again: Shame on you !!!

I love the film but the game, well it's not really the best one. Worst of all is to start back at the beginning of the level - a total motivation killer. Forget it.

After the third time of starting back at the beginning of the level because of the ridiculous "gaps that are exactly as wide as you can jump" gag I almost wished I'd bought this so I could ask for my money back; utter bilge.

How the hell would Psygnosis, a company who publishes quality games release this garbage pail? Actually, I bet they didn't. Blame Spidersoft.

Actually I haven't played the game, but after seeing a profanity laced review of the Nintendo Entertainment System conversion of is that game on You Tube, I won't even bother to play this crap.

I was curious about this game, just because of the freezingly low voting-score here on Lemon Amiga and I wanted to see if it really was this bad. Now that I've played it, I must admit that Cliffhanger is a very bad game, yes! Graphically very amateurish and the gameplay is just awful. The minimal number of moves at your disposal (only hitting and a high jump) is not very Silvester Stallone-like (I say this for the sake of his fans which I am not, although I thought he was great in the classic movie Death Race 2000!). Also going back to the start of the level when getting killed is plain stupid and frustrating. To summarize and stop wasting more words on this: the game looks stupid and plays awful!

Graphics: 3/10
Sound: 4/10
Playability: 3/10

Overall: 3/10

p.s.: I don't give a lower score, because there are games available on the Amiga which in my opinion are even worse (yes, really!)

Totally unplayable, cynical cash-in licence trash. And getting sent back to the beginning of the level is real fun... And this from Psygnosis of all people.

Too hard, poor collision detection, bad graphics and unexciting gameplay. If you could look these phrases up in the dictionary there would be a picture of this game right beside em.
Best ignore this one then and hope you don't have the misfortune of ever playing it.

Very, VERY poor game but still manages to have it's moments. Strange...
