Loved this game and still do! Spent many hours playing this with my brother, always remember getting stuck on the 3rd level then getting a tip from my grandams neighbor that the moving platforms reappear at the bottom of the screen when they had reached the top!
Listening to menu music transports me back, by the way who did do the music?
Never had the chance to play the 8bit versions, a bit before my time.
Verdict... 8/10 simple arcade style fun platformer!

So not a good transfer to 16bit. The music is annoying, the controls aren't quite as good (as mentioned by previous poster), and somehow they managed to increase the difficulty hugely. I like the background pictures but they do tend to clash with the foreground at times. 4/10.

I don't mind the background graphics and I don't mind the 8-bit conversion. But I do mind the weird controls that makes this game irritatingly difficult (climbing the ladder not always work).

Had this in some multi-game disk. Wasn't too fond of it. For some reason the graphically weak Spectrum version always appealed to me more.

The backgrounds were a welcome addition if a little confusing from the original. Still, the gameplay was there and it was good to play a bit of 8-bit goodness on the old Amiga back in the day.

I think this game suffered from a lot of snobbery.. The gameplay is there - yet I didn't like it waaay back - these are the games we lost.. COD4 is the crap we ended up with.

This game's a classic. Not one of my personal favourites, but very memorable. The backgrounds in this version looked nice, but made it visually confusing unfortunately.

8-bit version played far better. This one also had pointless backgrounds which clashed with the collectables.
