This crazy game is very funny and very fruity. Non - stop action with a strange main character. A bit weird that the game is called Kids (plural), but is one-player only. The same is Snow Bros (which is 2player coop on original arcade)

The unreleased Amiga version of Liquid Kids it's not up to the accuracy standards Ocean France was known for. Controls (only one button used), playing area size and frame rate do not match the original but it's not like they do not work. They do and the game is still very colourful and fun to play. All in all Liquid Kids on the Amiga is a flawed but decent rendition of a minor but fun Taito arcade game and, as such, superior to many Amiga platformers (7/10).

A solid conversion that respects the original arcade game in a lot of aspects. However, some choices are strange, like the design of mountains of the first level or the musics that are nice but totally different than the original ones. The real harsh fact is of course the reduced screen size. Sprites are smaller but they don't respect the arcade proportionalities in playing area, making more difficult to anticipate enemy waves. In an interview given to the Amiga Lore, Thierry Levastre tells us he thinks Ocean didn't have the rights from Taito to sale this adaptation. Screen size should explain it too but in another interview on Codetapper's Amiga Retro Site, Mark Djan confirms it.
By the way, a very nice and fun to play game to add to the "cute game" period from Taito adapted to the Amiga.

Another good effort from Ocean France but not quite up there with the likes of PANG!, Toki or Snow Bros. Even so, this is a very good game that I like quite a lot. Kudos. It's such a pity that it never got released when it was intended to.

Looks cute. I'd like to play it.
Couldn't find it at Game Archives.

Ocean had the rights, but considering the Amiga market at this time,
they cancelled it. Got the info from ex ocean france team member.

Great game with cute graphics and Kirby like music. Too bad Ocean was unable to earn the rights from Taito to converse their game, which was why this game was sadly never released.

I found the conversion very good, the only think that can ruin it is the too small screen-area of play.
If this was relased, could have been a quite good platform, 6.5/7 for me
