This is a difficult one to review. It's not a bad game but it clearly has its flaws. And while it uses the mechanics of Pengo, it's not really a good Pengo port - it moves too fast, the levels are too crowded with blocks and the enemy AI is pretty bad - they frequently walk right past you if they're on a path. That said, it looks and sounds decent, and it's pretty fun. Not a bad little timewaster.

Very good arcade conversion that could easily have been a commercial hit hadn't there been the downfall of the amiga market right during the time of release. But it where games like these which kept one staying with your amiga.

Some of the music in Pengo or Pengo 2 is taken from Utopia.
