This somehow seems faster and throatier (better engine noise) than the more polished Super Skidmarks to me, which has a more zoomed out viewpoint and feels a bit more sanitized. I prefer it, even without the high res option. Great graphics and a great 2 player made, all in all a superb game.

Gaff: And where is the fun in it? In particular when the game lacks of simple "challenge" options I mentioned below? Several races with AI, maybe a couple more with friends and the game lands on the bottom of the pile of floppy disks that you would never come back to...

Mailman: "Bad mechanics without any playability"? Oh man, it has been designed for drifting! Have you ever heard of Motorcycle speedway? It's very similar

Bad mechanics without any playability. The author of the game created an engine that was very unrealistic and what it is more he forgot about giving the game some lastability. No best time saving option, no challenge in 1 player game mode. The real fun was only in 2 player and in link-up modes but not everyone could have this privilege. The game also had huge requirements. To make use of all things the game has to offer (4 types of cars at once during race and music) you should have no less than 2 MB of Fast + 0,5 MB of Chip. Even standard A1200 was not enough.

Marvellous game that seemed to have been made according to my own desire. It was almost as if my dream game had materialized. Almost. But darn close. Excellent in every way!

I mostly played Super Skidmarks. It boasted more options for customizing the game, more cars and more tracks. Skidmarks on the other hand is a great game as well, just simpler and with fewer content. Both games are pleasant to look at and a lot of fun, especially in multiplayer.

I felt this had everything it needed to be fun to play over short periods of time. Single player was certainly a little easy but that never seemed to bother me. I'd just keep moving to the next track and try to make it seem to easy. Eventually it got old. I never bought or played the sequel. I've never been able to get it to work on the emulator. I'll try again before long since I've been craving this kind of game and you dont' seem to see anything like this these days on the PC.

Crappy game when played against computers who are too easy to beat on hardest difficulty level. Also the physics are horrible. Might be relatively fun with human players though.

I liked the "caravans" option. Funny thing, to race while towing the carvan

Funny multiplayer game!

Great multi-player action! Technically far from brilliant, it really felt like the cars were floating above the ground rather than actually driving on it, but it still offered a great load of fun!

There was music in the game. Pretty good music too!
The game itself is quite fun, but Super Skidmarks is better.

Hey this was a fantastic racing game. 2 player was fun too. Fine graphics but long loading time. There was no music as far as I remember?!

It wasn't really an amazing game but what it offered was simple: pure fun and that was enough I think..
