Called Katakis in germany this was much more fun on the C64. The Amiga version is just lame. Very unplayable nowadays.

R-Type clone. Playability, GFX & title music is good. Twin of this game is Katakis.

Very nice green colour in this game

I seem to remember this or Katakis not seeing the light of day due to Irem which I think is a bit picky as tons of shooters looked like R-Type in some way or other. Still, it's an average shooter from Factor 5 that was quite difficult in places I found. Graphics and sound above average too.

This was all right. A little taster of what Factor 5 could do at any rate.

I know others don't agree, but I think Denaris is the daddy of Amiga shooters - it's fast, the Graphics and sound are excellent and the gameplay is compelling.
A winner!

So, how does this differ from Katakis? The folks at Irem (R-Type) had really nothing to fear for in the first place I think, at least Katakis was nothing special .

Pretty lame shoot'em up actually. Smooth but boring.
