Highly unique adventure game with lots of twists and open world insights that gives the game a sense of non-linear story. Bearing in mind that this game was procured in 1991 it is a real gem. Greatly underrated.

I think it's very unique adventure game. AoRH is full of small quests, but it's not linear, so, if you're skilled, you can win the game almost at the beginning (and lose most fun).

This was an nice looking (Poplous style) adventure altough I could never get very far as I hadn't a clue what to do as I never had the manual! Was good fun What I could manage though.

Robin Hood is a fun and colourful adventure game in more ways than one, funny and lighthearted. Movement and controls can be a bit incoherent and sometimes if you don’t move Robin for a while he will go wandering off on his own little agenda. I love the ‘free play’ feel to this game of hopping in and out of the actual storyline when it suits you; each time it’s played you get a different game play experience.

Really enjoyed playing this, even today! Lots of small quests and puzzles, and a lot of ways to play the game. Graphics and sounds arent that spectacular but hey, thats not the most important thing.

Despite the controls being a bit sticky, I found this to be a wonderful gaming experince. You can really have fun with this game, lots of things to explore and experiment.

The idea was so good that i got very disappointed when i tried to play the game. It was so buggy that you had to be very patient to get the best out of it. If you were then it was certainly a great game.

This is a real gem. A little single disk game with open development of the plot, a little of action, puzzles. Entertaining and brilliant like you'll never guess.

A great romp! Very odd but very good, the objective is to reclaim the castle from the Sheriff, but the game is so open ended you can basically do anything you want - life in the town will happily go on without you. A bit like Oblivion but with smaller graphics
By exploring the town you can make allies and learn new abilities, improving your chances of taking out the castle. A nice touch is the 'herometer', which measures your popularity in the town - you need the support of the people in order to overthrow the Sheriff - making this possibly the only video game in history where you are rewarded for being nice.
The only real drawback is the clunky control system, which gives lesser clunky interfaces a role model to look up to. In particular, trying to shoot things with your bow is nearly impossible in time-critical situations, sometimes costing you the game. The save option provides some relief from this, but still.... If that one little flaw had been fixed then this would have been an all-time classic. Instead it's a flawed gem, but still one worth checking out. 8/10.

An extremely interesting game which gave the player a level of freedom unseen since Elite. Essentially, you play as Robin Of Loxley and must recapture your castle from the evil Sheriff, but how you actually go about that is entirely up to you.
Fancy storming the castle single-handedly? You can try, and if you manage to get in a couple of lucky shots it might work. If in the other hand you'd rather roam the land recruiting merry men before trying your luck, you can. And if all you want to do is wander the countryside chatting to people and taking in the scenery then that's fine too. It's a system which makes the game equally perfect for a ten minute blast or an all-day strategy session. The only real problem is that Robin has a tendency to wander off and do his own thing occasionally - an interesting idea in theory but in practice a little annoying sometimes.
The graphics are small but packed with character and the sound is minimal but adds atmosphere. Highly recommended to those looking for an adventure with a difference.
8/10

I used to like this because you could wonder round doing what you liked, and the seasons changed, and if someone was killed they got buried, probably a bit much to call it the origional GTA but the fact you didn't have to complete the tasks was ace.
Actually completing the game was far too easy though. 74%

Ive got admit I didn't really catch onto this game then I got it off a friend to see what it was like, then afterwards loved the concept of the game even if you didn't want to play, it was great to watch the animation with other people doing stuff, liked the music too.

A wonderful game and a lot of fun, I just used to wander about for hours just enjoying watching life go by and making friends with the dragon so as to get a zapper to cause mischief excellent

This is a pretty good game, and it offers a lot of freedom. I spent quite some time playing it.

A surprisingly good adventure game, because it gave you the freedom to experiment and explore quite freely. The controls were slightly quirky though, and restarting the game because of errors related to controls (aren't they always? Erm...) became frustrating in the long run, but Robin Hood remains a bright spot in my memories of Amiga games...

Nice little adventure, but I remember that the pathfinding was awful and the sprites sometimes did not do what I wanted. Even so, a nice game. Better than Rome, a similiar game

Intriguing, finely detailed and at times really funny: a great experience, even if slightly boring every now and then. Don't let the tiny graphics fool you, this sure was a good game.
