A CoverDisk game of 1990, technically, rocks! Good atmosphere and good use of melodies in game. Too bad for the stiff animations of the characters, otherwise it could be compared to commercial releases. Try it!

I remeber getting this from a magazine disk. Looked very pretty but was hard as hell. Ten out of ten tho for trying.

Funny game this. The sounds and graphics were an absolute joy but the game was awful. Controlling the character is close to impossible. You are given three lives but if you collect all the items you need and then die, the level is impossible to complete because you no longer have the weapon you need to beat the boss. The time limits are ridiculous and the logic needed to beat the bosses is bizarre. Add to that the 'English' translation of the story is totally incomprehensible.

Yet the graphics, sound and the fact that there is a bit of parallax scrolling thrown in to each level makes you desperately want to overlook all of the blindingly obvious flaws. There's just something about it which is addictive.

I had memories of this game being ridiculously frustrating, and generally the only reason I'd fire it up was to listen to the Maniacs of Noise soundtrack; having just played it again my memory was completely accurate: the controls are terrible! (I think I stopped buying Amiga Fun after a couple of issues as the quality of the games was pretty poor...)
