I really loved this one, trying to win that elusive ten grand to save the circus was pretty compulsive and the events were tricky and fun - big downer was the excessive disk swapping and accessing

I am not a particular fan of the circus, I would never have thought that the circus would be a good setting for an Amiga game. But "Fiendish Freddy's Big Top o' Fun" is a damn good game! It's like the Epyx Summer/Winter/California Games, but with circus acts instead of sports disciplines. You have the typical acts: a girl as human target on some rotating thing, human cannonball, jump from great height into a flat pool and so on. I liked the trapeze act most.
"Fiendish Freddy's Big Top o' Fun" has very good graphics and tons of little jokes and gags. Can be played with up to 5 players (alternate).
An unusal setting, but lots of fun and a great game in multiplayer!

The idea is nice, but many of the stages recquire pixel perfect precition and timing with offering little to no visual aids to assist you in the process. The last challenge has three different variables, two of them adjustable without any numbers given for the distance or angle etc. Making precise adjustment a matter of incredible luck rather then skill.
And in the end you still get the bad ending.

Kept my attention for a few hours--rather challenging and enjoyable while it lasted. I take it that the image on the boxart is Fiendish Freddie trying to be scary. It didn't work because his antics during the game exposed him instead, as a frollicking comic, not a fiend. Fiendish Freddie has therefore failed to achieve nightmare status.

Great game, what a pity I accidentely destroyed one of the disks. It still have some magic looking at these screen shots, I remember I loved it.

I enjoyed this game quite a bit.

It was the slapstick humour and crazy SFX that got me on this on. Although, a pretty standard "sports" game, it was always a treat to see what the judges would do next!

A great way to impress your C64-friends with the graphics/sound capabilities of the Amiga. Purely as a game, not much above average.
