It's a simplified adventure game. Your task is to solve a puzzle in one location and this allows you to go to the other location. The biggest flaw is that you are not informed what must be achieved in certain location. So you often try many things but don't know what is the purpose. Another flaw is the energy bar which shrinks when you do something wrong. There is one stage (with sleeping dog) where you have to loose some energy but if you start this stage with low amount of energy you won't pass it(!).
Graphics are OK but sound effects are poor - most of the time this game is silent. And where is the music mentioned in opening titles?

This is rather a puzzle than an adventure game. In each of 22 stages the player has to coordinate actions of three goblins, each with different abilities, in order to solve the puzzles that can be about finding an item or just simple going to the other side of the screen. Incorrect deeds result in losing the energy. The game at first may be considered difficult but in overall the puzzles are not that complicated. This is a very picturesque small game than can give you a lot of fun.

A different approach on adventure gaming. You first have to solve all the puzzles on the screen to get to the next one and everytime you do something wrong, you lose energy.

A fun game with nice graphics and very amusing animation, with great crazy voices to match. I love the fact that, in this whole series, you can't actually understand their language (except for the fact that there are subtitles, or course).
The puzzles were extremely difficult, mostly because they were so illogical and most of the time you could only come to a successful conclusion by trial and error. In this particular game, this was no easy task because you had a health meter, and if you made a mistake it could be fatal!
Luckily, the levels had passwords, and these passwords were different depending on how much health you had at the time. So if you had the patience, you could keep trying until you completed the level with full health. Then all you had to do was write down the password and you wouldn't have to worry about doing the previous level again. It was a very difficult game, but the comedy kept you going and made it very enjoyable.

I loved these. Seems like I had this one on Amiga and the whole trilogy (bought as a set) on PC. I don't think the sound works anymore on PC though. But I have a strong desire to fire these up. I remember the garbly-gook voicework being fitfully funny. And the puzzles being really really hard.
8/10

As a child I thought that this game is awesome. Today I think, that this game is only good. Life perimeter in adventure? Please... But I like Goblins Trilogy all the time, so 7/10.

Disk swapping was a nightmare but you always knew it was a good game if you persevered with this! Quite amusing in places and some clever puzzles made this a play to the end one for me.

This was OK, not the best adventure point n click games but was enough to keep me playing for a bit.

Brilliant gameplay, only marred by lengthy disk accessing.
