Pete Lyon did a fantastic job pixel wise. The game itself is boredom incarnate.

The graphics by Pete Lyon are fantastic. I remember how impressed we all were when he started producing such great stuff. The gameplay... Ugh. US Gold wanted a picture-book and nobody had any serious idea how it would actually be, y'know, fun. ;-)

I made the decision to buy this game based on screenshots and the fact it was a game about the Godfather film. Boy I was naive. Makes a nice collectible though, with the codewheel and all. And a stylish black box...with some nice screenshots.

About as good as Godfather III....

I just hope that the next "The Godfather" game for the next gen consoles (and this generation too) is going to be a lot of better than this.

Well well well, yet again US Gold publish yet another dire and poor film tie in game. It has decent background scenary but thats it, everything else is pretty poor. Yet it comes from the same developer that did Final Fight, Street Fighter 2, but yet again they did do some crap games like Eswat, California Games 2, Days of Thunder, need I go on

Great movie, horrible game.

It really is a shame that the background graphics are so good in this game... Cause I would have loved to give it a 1.

It was obvious that due to sheer probability the best movie of all time would not have much chance of translating into the best game of all time.
