For a one-man-project, Inviyya is amazing, definitely one of the heavy-hitters of the year. Inspirations from games like R-Type and Hydorah can be seen. The difficulty curve is also very well balanced. Sadly there aren't that many upgrades or extra weapons, no continues, and at the moment of writing this, the high-score could not be saved to disk.
