Some games scroll way, way too fast.
In the effort to speed it up they ended up going probably 3 times too fast.
Go to YouTube, find a video on this game and watch it at full speed, and then slow it down to half or quarter speed - that is what it needs.
Of course... Nowadays, I could do with a blimp shooter...

Goldrunner II is like a vertical Uridium, but with horrible gameplay.
The only good thing that can be said is that it has extremely fast smooth scrolling.

Both of the Goldrunner games were a bitch to play but atleast the first one had awesome music. I used to load the game hundreds of times just to hear the music. Goldrunner II is maybe slightly more playable than the first one but the gameplay still sucks and the music is far inferior. Nothing will save this one.
Conclusion : Crappy games both of 'em but the first one is worth getting just for the music. The title screen is also beautiful.
