I liked it and played it a lot as a kid. To play in a 3D environement back in the days was very impressive.

Baaah! Very poor racing game. Just because of those games dustbins was invented...

@ comiga-perhaps you liked it better before you could actually drive a car. That's why I enjoyed it so much in the arcade with the steering wheel, etc.
I remember the Amiga version of this being kind of disappointing. Partly because I didn't have a wheel control. If I'd had a Logitech G25 like I do now...man!

Graphics are good but the darn controls destroy every single bit of fun. (45%)

I liked it too
I remember my friends being well impressed with it. It *did* drive like a brick, but you could get the hang of it (sort of - mouse control helped a lot, from memory) if you stuck with it. And how can you argue with that cow?
Still, it's aged fairly horribly :-). 5/10.

Generally attractive, but on the whole, slow uncontrollable crap! , how can you release this...and be like....oh it's good enough , I suppose alot of the time...we support crap like this with our wallets hoping for Brilliance, sadly mistaken.... 34/100 For Mine...

Quite awful. I remember thinking "what the hell is going on" when playing this as the only place I ended up was anywhere but the bloody road! There are a lot better driving games on the Amiga.

Innovative game at the time, but put it next to stunt car racer and it drives like a brick

What wonders me is that why controlling is so bad? Did not programmers notice it themselves? Or did they ran out of time? I don't believe that it would have required much extra effort to make controls a bit better.

A bit of a disaster but still fun to look at in some respect

After buying this game I had to hide it in the closet because I was so embarassed.

Oh dear. Looks like a coin-op version, plays like a dog. Great conversion effort completelly ruined by playability from hell...

Well, what can I say? This was a arcade-hit, but I never got the chance to play it there. When this came to the Amiga I was curious, but this faded really fast when I played it. This is a crappy game to say the least! Graphics were okay and I guess true to the coin up, but this game had a playability close to the freezing point. It was like driving a Lada, instead of a Ferrari! After 10 minutes I decided to never play this game again. I broke that promise, I must confess, I played it again 5 minutes ago, but I still have the same impression as when I first played this. (crap)2!
Graphics: 5/10
Sound: 5/10
Playability: 3/10
Overall: 4/10

I thought this was a reasonable conversion of an average arcade game. Loved making the cow moo!

Hard Convertin'
What was quite a fun arcade game was ruined purely by the fact that they didn't include a Steering Wheel, Pedals & Gearbox with the game. A no-goer from day 1.
That was the main attraction of the arcade game, as a 10 year old you actually thought that driving a car was like this.
