The worst fighting game I've ever played. Truly abysmal.

This is the sequel to Tiertex's horrid Street Fighter conversion. Somehow, they made it worse. Props to Not-Ryu as the protagonist.

Another exquisite Atari ST conversion from tiertex.
1/10 because 0/10 doesn't exist.

I believe below reviews are missing the point: this is a _TIERTEX_ game ('nuff said.)!!! And published by _US Gold_ to top it, no less (these two really found each other back then)!
When such /mighty entities/ join forces... Well, you know what you're gonna get.

Well worth checking out for a valuable lesson on what NOT to do when developing a fighting game. The characters are all horrible stereotypes and they have only a few frames of animation, which makes all movement look stilted. The AI is almost nonexistent. To make up for that, your opponents kill you with a couple of hits.

There is no sound, only a background track. Not being able to hear punches and voices is totally inacceptable in a fighting game. And when I said background track, I meant ONE track. You'll hear the title theme on every stage... For the whole game.

None of the characters have special moves. They usually have one punch and one kick. Oh, and to top it off, you only get to play as one character, Korean thai kickboxer Kwon.

Even the harshest words wouldn't vaguely start to do this "game" justice...

Given away on a magazine, shocking game.

How can you make a fighting game difficult when you can't program an AI to speak of? Obvious: you make the opponent ten times as strong as you so that you can be knocked out with only two hits, sometimes even ONE. That's just something to start with if I were to list the countless flaws of this disaster, but I'm physically unable to.

Not happy with ruining Street Fighter, Tiertex built another game on top of almost the same code. Maybe faster, if that's worth the price of a fixed screen. Not to mention the stereotypical characters beyond the very conception of racial bigotry. And why the heck do you still fight the Spanish opponents in the Red Light District of Amsterdam on this version?

I had the misfortune in "playing" this not so long ago. A poor Street Fighter clone with no real gameplay at all! Avoid.

A clone of Street Fighter. Strangely, they took the Amiga version with its bad animations as reference and not the arcade version. So you get the same gameplay as SF, but executed even worse. Update 2016: I just noticed that Stuart Ashens made a video about this game three days after my comment here, and "coincidentally" mentions the same [www]

Often described as the next best thing (or something like that...) on many games-mags previews at the time, this soon revealed itself for the unforgivable, unplayable, Tiertex-developed utter disaster it actually was. If you played it for more than 10 minutes and survived, congratulations: that sure was a big task...

Whatever it's origins, this game is horrible in absolutely every respect. It really has no saving graces at all. This is easily the worst game on the Amiga. To this I've never seen anything worse on any platform.

This was given away free with a magazine. So to be fair I'll comapre it to normal magazine freebies......

I'd rate it about the same importance/interest as the advertising junk you get with most magazines asking you to join a book club.
