In my opinion "The Humans" is a very original and unique game. It is true that disk swapping is a bit painful but a little bit extra memory solves the problem and the game keeps reading data only from the third disk (apart from the moments when there is an animation sequence - that happens from time to time depending on your level of experience as a caveman). I love playing "The Humans" even now and solving puzzles prepared by the authors is kind of a relaxing. The first levels are just like a stroll in the park but the further you are, the more difficult it becomes.
Apart from the gameplay there are also audio-visuals that are simply stunning!

Except the loadings and especially disk swapping (WHY THE HELL must player swap disks 3 times between each two levels?!) the game is not so bad. If you are able to play it through WHDLoad, you can even enjoy it, but there are better games of this genre. Humans have a lot of funny moments, though. Like anims (which looping is annoying, though), or the band in hi-score, which I really like. Very original is the game box as well. My opinion is 6/10.

As said below: nice game with awful loading times. (73%)

A real fun and challenging game dispite the terrible load times as others have stated.

The loading on this was atrocious but it was actually a fun game if you gave it time. I now have it on hard drive on me old A1200 and its a lot less painful.

Hehe yeah Kim I remember that, kept you busy just swapping disks over let alone playing the game. Wouldve been OK if it weren't for the tedious disk swapping

Very, very annoying disk swapping. It was 1992, but yet it didn't support any drive above DF0:

Lemmings meets Lost Vikings. Fun game, that had a lot of great brain teasers.
