I had high hopes for Bump 'n' Burn. The graphics are gorgeous and the music is quite good. The characters are also well designed. Everything looks really polished. But as soon as I had raced the first track, I knew this was a bad game. Racing in this game is both boring and frustratingly difficult.

A very colourful and very slick in design but unfortunately it has nothing more to show. The races are dull and somewhat "flat". I have a feeling that camera is too low and it makes the whole game artificial. The idea of weapons is nice but apart from some turbos and projectiles there is nothing really useful. The most annoying things are flying enemies and cliffs above which you have to jump. If you fail jumping or an enemy catches you, you just fall down and lose the distance to the rest of the opponents. The game is average. You should give it a try just to see how beautifully drawn graphics were wasted by lack of playability.

This game looks great but its no mario kart. It just doesn't feel right to play and can appear very unfair at times. 7/10

Sure it wasn't mario kart, but it was the closest the amiga got, a fun game.

In comparison to standard Amiga version this game has only few differences - but they are WORSE. All it is in music - the CD32 version has 23 new CD tracks, but their usage is weird - are short, they are uploaded to memory again and again from the CD after they finish and need to loop (!!) and in some passages they are missing (in shop or in results tab). But I like those speechings before start of each racing circuit.

This game was one of the best racing games on the CD32 as it had good GFX and sound & was fun to play, strange as many of Grandslams games were terrible

The closed racing game we had to mario kart. Of course nowhere near as good, but all the same the graphics were stunning and it was quite a fun game to play with many characters to select from.

Ordered this game for AGA but was always out of stock, shame as the demo played well and it had the potential of being a good kart type racer.
