Heimdall 2 is absolutly excellent sequel. Authors managed to fix almost all the flaws of the predecessor. Fight system is not as original as before but finally playable, enjoyable and reasonable. Inventory is much bigger which is also good. Unfortunatelly the riddles and adventures are relatively easy (even too easy) and sometimes seem disconnected from the main story while in "Heimdall" they were building the whole story themselves. Similar to "Heimdall" the weak side of this game are sound effects. They are very limited. Ingame music would be also a nice touch. Nevertheless, this is still an excellent game.
CD32 version (a bit different than AGA version) is a bit flawed by the unfortunate option of save game. It is quite buggy and may not allow the player to complete the game if you use it. Still the game can be completed in one go or with a thought through usage of this "feature". However it can be compensated by nice audio tracks.

Very cool. One of the last games I bought for my CD32 (as stated in the H1 comment area, hee). I remembering hoping this game would be something special (since I'd already had a new PC playing Wolfenstein 3D and Doom) I needed something new and fun so I could stop ignoring my fateful old Amiga...it worked. Great looking game with terrific puzzles.
I seem to remember there being something annoying I had to do to get this to work. ??? I'll just replace it with that emu version and that'll be that. This and the original will be fun again, I can feel it.
9/10
