Back in 1989 this game was a masterpiece. It followed almost exactly the movie plot and offered an excellent experience for all Indiana Jones fans. Multiple possibilities to deal with the puzzles also had its charm. However, the game was difficult, in particular the fighting sections that were really annoying. Nevertheless this game is a real gem among all adventure games.

I loved this, it followed the film so well, and the hard copy grail diary was a great idea. I played it before Monkey Island. I remember finding Indy's office full of artifacts so exciting, and escaping out of the window was so brilliant. Unfortunately I eventually got stuck in the catacombs and that was the end of the experience for me. Couldn't just google it in those days. But it was fantastic while it lasted.

An Amiga adventure with Indiana Jones is a winning idea. This adventure is something special and unique, it's funny at times, but also creepy (I found the Venetian catacombs quite unsettling as a kid, with their music and the red tiny eyes appearing in the dark). The castle was probably the best part in the game, also because you could trick all the nazis without having to fight them, just finding the right sentences. Depending on your actions, little parts in the plot development could change, but not as much as in Maniac Mansion, for example. It was a load of fun to go to Berlin and find yourself in front of Hitler: ever tried to punch him? After having saved the game, of course ahah! But, god, how I hated that zeppelin!!!

Finally getting around to giving two thumbs up for this title. Like so many other Amiga games like it, Indy brought hours of fun--sometimes calm admiration in the 'click-figure-it-out scenes--sometimes though, it was hair-pulling grief--
Like the boxing sequence, or the castle scenes, or the border crossing section--these are a few of the things which marks this game as something special.

Another great game from Lucasarts! I haven't even completed this one yet, because even though the game follows the movie pretty closely, the developers have added some extra stuff so that players wouldn't be able to complete the game by just watching the movie.

Challenging the bloke in the boxing ring is pretty fun too sometimes

A very good game indeed. The Lucasfilm Games/LucasArts classics adventures like these never fail to disappoint me. Don't judge the company or the Indiana Jones games on the platformers - the point-and-click adventures have so much more to them.

As far as LucasArts point-and-click games go, this is not one of the VERY best games they've ever made, however it is still really good and enjoyable. It's also a very long game, and there are certain points in which you can even die, so it's quite a challenge.

Nice graphics and a good musical score too. As always with this company, there are some great puzzles. And unlike many movie-to-game games, this game does not ruin the movie.

Great game, great movie, and worth playing even if you're not a fan of the movie. If you ARE a fan, though, then don't miss this one!!

A great adventure game, just proves that a game doesnt have to have the Best Graphics to be a great game. I love the Indiana Jones movies and i love both of the Indiana Jones ADVENTURE games.
Best movie -to - game out there for the Amiga. A+++

Again, brilliance from Lucasfilm games. I think I prefered this one to Atlantis though. Great puzzles, fight scenes and witty thoughout.

This was a nice adventure game to play and nothing to be ashamed of at all, it had what most adventures games didn't... And that was the true representation of movie to game conversion.

One of the best film-tie ins ever created! On its own, it marked a considerable leap ahead for Lucasarts' SCUMM-games in terms of visual appearance and design. It may not look like much, yet next to its predecessors "Maniac Mansion" and "Zak McKracken" this looked grand.

I saw the film first, then read an article about the game's programming and design team and could not wait for it to be released. I was eventually mesmerised.

What I liked in particular were the various extensions of the original film plot. There were many additional locations and situations, and even several different conclusions. Since you were awarded "indy points" based on your performance (the more you solve and the less you fight the better your rating gets), I played this adventure multiple times. If memory serves well, top scores were awarded if you managed to salvage the grail from the vault into which else fell to her death and returned it to the grail knight.

Of course, most people were already familiar with the basic intrigue of the storyline due to the trailers, posters and articles promoting "the last crusade"-movie, so this adventure may not have had the same impact on players as the completely original "Fate of Atlantis". Nevertheless, great fun and still highly recommended.

A special VGA-version was released later for MS-DOS, which featured completely redesigned 256-colour graphics.

Outstanding Fun Amiga Lucasarts adveture, this was in the early days of point and click but still a wonderful game and one in which you will lose yourself for a long time.
the choice of puzzles and tie ins with the film are great. Shame Lucas don't make stuff like this now

Grrrreat stuff! I played this game before I watched the movie and I was totally blown away when I realized that it even featured the same conversations.

I ordered this game from a mail order company. I waited for it to arrive for months. I waited so long I finally forgot I had ordered the game. Then one day, months later, it mysteriously fell through the letter box. Was it worth the wait? Oh yes, it was. Classic Indy spirit rides the story. The game is faithful to the movie but stands on its own merits also.

Great game with a huge hookability. I really like the storyline being so close to the movie. They did a great job on this game. Maybe the graphics and all aren't that good, and maybe even the music is a bit lame, but the game plays very well along, makes you forget all those disadvantages. Come to think of it: why do I like this game so much!? It isn't that good after all. I guess it has something to do with the romance of that time. Love it!

Not nearly as good as Fate of Atlantis, but still a really great game, faithful to the movie. I had a lot of fun exploring the dark caverns. Check it out.

Great game, marred only by the lifeless colour pallette. A failure that Lucasfilms would not make with later releases on the Amiga.

A good Indiana Jones point and click game (Actually the first) but Fate of Atlantis is slightly better. This game was actually put together in a big rush and the end result is actually pretty good
