Cannon Fodder was a great little game on the A500. Sure it didn't have great graphics, but the game play made it stand out.
The problem with the CD32 version, as would be if there was a A1200 like this version, is couldn't they had added some in game stuff? Maybe more/better sound effects, a split screen 2 player/coop, basically something to take advantage of the more memory and faster processor. I know they added a FMV video, but the add on hardware to run it was expensive at the time. Also I noticed the access times to load the game were about the same as floppy, which was odd.
Overall another great A500 game, which unfortunately doesn't suit the CD32 as a standalone game. This would be OK in a best of Amiga classics compilation CD.

There's something very upsetting about losing your little guys during war, you really do get attached to them and don't want to see them die. Still, that's just another example of how damn good this game is.

What a great game this is! The levels start off simple and fun, then get harder and harder while at same time get more and more fun! I used to play it over and over again just to try and keep my original squad

This is just great classic stuff. War has never been such fun, well unless you're actually Donald Rumsfield reading this comment. Sensible at their best, when they weren't writing football games that is
