The animated movie sequences are a nice addition for the CD32 release. I also appreciate they mapped the controls for jump and "extend" to separate buttons on the joypad. Otherwise, the game remains virtually unchanged from the AGA version.

Nice and relaxing platformer. Mostly for kids but the older players also will have some fun playing this game.

AGA version is the best in global, but music in OSC/ECS version sound a little better for my taste (was made in diferent tracker formats). The worst for me is this CD32 version, that basic and funny tunes in disk versions is the soul of this game. Anyway is nice in all versions.
Good job Richard R.I.P

One of the most memorable Amiga platformers at it's very best! Bits of graphics have been slightly enhanced and the music (which are tracks on the CD) are of very nice quality, and indeed nostalgic!
But my favourite thing about this version is the extra content that comes with it. A very well animated introduction sequence, and a 3 minute cartoon introducing the world to James Pond 3. Man, I wish there was a TV cartoon series of James Pond. Heck, I'd totally want to animate something like that!
You also get a huge, detailed F.I.5.H files thing on the CD, for those of us who are really into the whole James Pond thing. It's almost like a digital version of the pack you would get for free when you bought the JP3 game.
To put it simply, the creators of this version really showed us that they know just how to make the most of using a CD to store information on. With the CD music tracks, movie clips and digital information booklet, I really can't think of anything else they could have possibly added!
