Hmmm, the only squash game I ever played. And I did play it a lot, but I can't really see why, because the game play is pretty slow and boring. I think it was the pretty OK career-mode thingy that was the appeal.

As an active and very good (ahem!) squash-player I am naturally interested in a conversion of the game to the computerscreen. Krisalis have done this and I tried the game today. Graphically this game is okay, but that's something which all Krisalis games are blessed with. The sound is very good and when you play the game and close your eyes you really think you're in a squash area. But I guess you'd better keep your eyes closed, because the game itself is not really like a real squash game. First of all, this isn't an easy game! The other players are pretty professional, so you really have to play this game a lot before you will get a bit good at it. This may not be a very bad thing, because it increases the lastability of the game, but still, it's frustrating sometimes when you are happy that you hit the ball nicely for once, only to see your opponent make a very difficult shot after that, keeping you at your spot, only able to watch how he scores... Again. The animation of the main sprites is pathetic. It looks like all the players shit their pants before getting into the playing area, because they walk very stiff keeping their racket in one position. I couldn't suppress a laugh! This is a decent attempt to get squash on your computer, but maybe Great Courts 2 should have been the example.
