Certainly not perfect, there's not really any more to it than meets the eye. However, it will put a smile on your face and there is a fair bit of fun to be had. I also liked how the objects found after killing monsters were randomised, I found that gave it more replayability value. Good stuff. 7/10 from me.

Hey, "Wonderboy In Monsterland 2" - cool. Wait - I'm wrong. It's "Kid Gloves 2" only. Hm. Nevermind. It's a funny game, too....

Loved Wonderboy in Monsterland so I thought i'd love this as its a shamless rip off of that game. But, I didn't. Although I quite like the main character, the Colour scheme is rotten and the scrolling is choppy. Why does a game with this few colours, a giant border round the sides and no parallax have such a low framerate? I believe poor, lazy programming is to blame.
Missed opportunity.

I really like this game, except it plays a little choppy (like most Amiga games unfortunately did) it's fun, nothing spectacular, but fun.

Whaa? I like this game, quite a bit actually. It reminds me of the sort of eighties platformers you sometimes find in little arcades. This is a GOOD game.

This only became a sequel to Kid Gloves at the last minure, which explains why the similarities are minimal. What it doesn't explain is the illogical design, sloppy movement, lousy control system, bland levels and shoddy feel. There are worse platform games, but there are dozens of better ones on the Amiga.

Why they made a sequel of this game, is a mistery to me. This is not a good game! Poor graphics, irritating songs and gameplay that is very boring. This is not crap, but it's not good either. Just a title that has no reason for existing!

Graphics: 6/10
Sound: 5/10
Playability: 5/10

Overall: 5/10
