I really liked the looks of it when I saw the pictures on the magazines. A friend of mine was a tremendous fan of the movie and kept on talking about it (he even wanted to be Charlie Sheen). All things accounted for, I ended up buying the game. It's not a top game by any chance but it kept us entertained for a wee bit during the summer...

Enjoyable game. Good graphics and music, although you have to learn the levels by heart to finish them in time.

I played this on the C64 first and this version comes across just a standard platformer/shooter which, if you have played the C64 version through, there isn't much play value in this.

I had this on a cartridge for my C64. Its quite good once you get into it, not a bad game at all.

I dont understand. The programmers are the same as the spectrum version,.. But speccy version is miles better and more playable than this one. That was usual at 1987, 1988... But in 1990?!?!
Speccy version is a gem

Clunky movement, little real challenge, weak level design and some dodgy graphics that overcompensate for bad animation by adding a massive amount of frames to smooth the movements out, which just makes things worse. Whatever it was like at the time, it's aged badly.

Seems mediocre. And that's what it is. Still I quite enjoyed it and completed it several times because it was fair and challenging.

I remember hating the music, and that the game all in all was pretty average.

A really neat game to play, with some unique controls. You can hang on ledges and climb along them or up to the next level. The fact, that already 1 enemy shot kan kill you, creates quite a tense atmosphere. And the intromusic is just perfect.

Not a bad game at all. Sullied by the dreadful movie with which it shares a name! Nice chunky graphics and a good challenge.

I used to love this game and especially being able to hang down the platforms, which was a novel feature at the time.

Graphically this platform shooter Navy Seals is pretty nice, and the sound is okay, but the playability is awful! A pretty nice concept which is made very badly. Leave well alone!

Graphics: 7/10
Sound: 7/10
Playability: 5/10

Overall: 6/10
