Very addictive in a frustrating kind of way 8/10

Nebulus! That's what it was called! I can always recall the game - I thought the rotating tower idea was a great one - but never the name!

Many funny hours for this game! I love pogo.

My first Amiga game, my first love.

I think the colours in this version are superb. Gameplay is as frustrating as ever. I never managed to finish it.

I played this once, loved it.

Loved this on the C64. Plays just as good on the Amiga. What's with all the bitchin' about the 16 bit versions colours tho? The copper bars and water effects are lovely.

I never was a big TowerToppler fan but strangely disagreeing with nearly all comments on lemon I personally think that the Amiga Version is the best one ... Even better than the well known opensource remake ...

Very nice game ! Hey, back in 1988, all players were fond of copper bars and the tower rotation was so smooth

I never liked this game on any system I tried it on. This version is the worst. The colors are so badly chosen it hurts my eyes. The developers must have been excited the Amiga offered more colors than they were used to, but that doesn't mean they had to cram as many as they could into every single screen.

Never liked this even on the humble commy! Was just too damn frustrating and those copper bars in the Amiga's burst my head!

An all-time classic. Played this for hours as a kid. Also played a version on NES but it was not as good.

I have to agree that the graphics were a bit too loud, which seems to have either been a problem with graphic artists going OTT with a larger colour palette to work with, or direct ST ports using poor original colours from that machine's palette, too much partying at acid house raves at that time, or a combination of all three. Still fun of course, but I think the C64 version is the one to play still.

ST port, but this is one of the best for the Amiga. Still playing it some times.

Quirky little game that i found fun! Its a real challenge. Its a simple idea, and a bit of a different take on the standard platformer. Its good for a quick game from time to time, but not long sessions!

Quite an innovative hit back then, but I quickly lost motivation to play it. Jumps have to be pixel perfect, else you slip off the platforms. Some platforms disappear below you, but to know which ones, you have to step on them, thus losing a life because you fell into the water. Also the flying enemy, which appears at the worst moments and you have to dodge because it can't be shot, is just too frustrating.

Very frustrating game at times but alot of fun too.

Well, I prefer the C64 version. I found this one too colourful, and the colours themselves are badly combined. Can't distinguish well the objects. The idea of the game is good, it has good longevity, quite tricky I have to say. But I'd experienced it on C64 and after on the Amiga, and the C64 version was graphically cleaner. Yes the copper and water effect. Did not impress me that much.

Nebulus is a nice fair enough game to play. Good graphics, but not good tunes as I expected here.
Also the water effect added is wonderful
6/10

I think the game at the time had me hooked but only for short amount of time, it had nice enough GFX for the time but again felt it could have been better

Good game but I never really got into it.

Incredibly over-rated "classic". Far too frustrating and sloppily designed to offer any entertainment.

Highly-enjoyable pseudo-3D climb-the-towers game.

Fine and enjoyable game and I don't really have much complaints about conversion.

Not as good as the C=64 version but still an all time original. If you haven't layed it, definately give it a try!

I love the original C64 version and thought that given the impressive graphics of the original that the version would be much better. Not so! The C64 version "towers" over this attempt. Nevertheless, the gameplay is almost identical if you don't take into consideration the glaring colours.

Original and imaginative game, this had you climbing some towers while the screen rotated around them. Which sounded stupid enough, but worked incredibly well.

The instructiosn with this are pretty awful, which makes an already difficult game extremely tough and frustrating at first. It's worth persevering with though, because the 3D view and rotating screen coupled with unusual design elements makes for an interesting diversion. Like all John Phillips games there's nothing else like it, before or since.

Great conversion from the C64 - although I have to say the ST version was a bit better due to it having exactly the same graphics but with more sampled sounds.

Altough (or due) very similar to 8-bit version, the original was better!
