Very nice platform game. Not the most famous but one of the best for Amiga 500.
Very smooth and playable.
Nice levels design and a good life duration.
9/10

Arabian Nights is an Amiga exclusive and clearly shows deep knowledge of the hardware and a lot of care into making it. It is well drawn, well animated, has good musics and sound effects (that can be heard together). It is as smooth as a console platformer and uses very well the typical amiga gradients and playfields. Controls are very good and make decent use of the 2nd fire button. Adventure elements are perfectly implemented into the fast gameplay then the european arcade adventure features and the japanese jump'n'run influences are perfectly balanced. Arabian Nights is a top Amiga platformer (9/10).

Speed, fun, excellent music, humour. Maybemy favorite plateformer on the Amiga.

The platforming stages are rather good, even if sometimes not that straightforward. There's also some rather hilarious moments in game.
However the two flying stages are rather sub par, mostly becase you can't shoot down anything with one hit, and you just end up avoiding things most of the time to not risk getting shot or hit by an enemy from below.
Overall, this wasn't that bad, and it certainly seemed to have alot more to do with Aladdin then "Aladdin's Magic Lamp".

Arabian Nights is a standard platformer. The main character looks like a distant cousing of the protagonist in Soccer Kid. No coincidence, since both games were developd by Krisalis. I personally preferred Soccer Kid and spent only a quick glance at the gameplay of Arabian Nights.

An engaging combination of action and adventure from the brains behind Soccer Kid, crammed full of secret areas and bursting with originality and fun. It really could have done without that awful shoot-em-up level, though.

A really great platformer, great graphics and great gameplay. Never completed it and the music is average but the levels are fun to play over and a nice enough challenge that you'll want to come back to it.

I really like this game. Ive never got off the ship level though.

Just started this--nice playability, nice overall--some won't like the style of graphics here but I think it's quite good as a reflection of a 1993 platformer (is there a category for cute platformer?). At any rate, the music is a little repetitious, but not over-bearing, and the controls and motion are smooth.

Very cute platformer with adventure elements (i.e. Pick up and use items). Only disappointment was flying carpet part - it's not so well done.

Arabian Nights is a very good platformer from the guys at Krisalis. Nice cartoony graphics with fast paced gameplay. Sometimes a little too fast to my liking. Still, the game plays solid and the various puzzles are nice and straight forward. The music is funny, and suits the atmosphere. The game might be a bit frustrating in places, but overall a very good platform game with some nice features!
Graphics: 8/10
Sound: 7/10
Playability: 8/10
Overall: 8/10

I loved this one, the music was cool and I kept playing it til the end. The underwater level was a little annoying but other than that I rather quite enjoyed it!

Loved this one. Very Soccer Kid which was also a belting little outing. This for me was one of those, come home, put on Amiga, play Arabian Nights, try to fit in time for food stuffs then bed. One of those you could return to after finishing it! In fact, I think I may have to dig it out for a wee shotty.

A really good platform puzzler, similar to Soccer Kid on a superficial level, maybe not as good but challenging and exciting.

Awesome platformer with plenty of (simple) puzzles to prevent the game from becoming a mindless jump-and-slash-everything-in-sight fest.
Excellent graphics, catchy music and challenging gameplay make for a highly entertaining game.

This is a good platform game with some nice GFX and sound, loved the music that accompanied the settiing of the game. Nice levels & sprites and not a disappointment.
