In 1988 I was 11y.o. And went to my Neighbours wich were the owners of my Dream...a COMMODORE PC 30-10!(SORRY! ... I was owner of a Amiga500, but it was not easy to get Sierra for Amiga at this Time in our City!😉) I opend the file PQ.exe and felt in Love with Police Quest ... And Sierra Adventures till today! - But this one is My 'VerySpecial-Nr.1'-Game Forever!!!❤

Excellent game. A very procedural and routine repeating one but still very good. VGA version that ended up only on PC was a bit shallow and deprived of some the most interesting parts.

My first adventure game & one I come back to time & time again. It completely opened my mind to the freedom a game can offer, but also the freedom to make mistakes & this is one difficult game

I grew up with this game and it will always have a special place in my heart

It kept me interested for a short while, but really i didn't get into it. Maybe because I am a later generation gamer that didn't go through the whole text based adventures, I just hated the text based input.

Another really nice Sierra game!

This game is tricky but enjoyable, as with most early Sierra games the simple graphics allow many more possibilities for interaction with the environment - though not always.. There is always something to discover.
Those that enjoy point and click adventures like Monkey Island may find this a little too complex and mature for their tastes and bemoan the fact that there is a lot of ways you can screw up.. Just save often and learn from your mistakes!
A manual is required for such things as police radio codes, road map and duty procedure.. Otherwise it's plain sailing

Good luck playing this game if you're not a police man or have the manual. There are just too many details you have to be aware when arresting people or do other things. Again, typically Sierra, if you miss doing something early in game, you won't be able to finish it.

A police experience that has yet to be rivaled. 9/10.

I remember playing this on my 1200. I copied the whole disk to RAM and played it from there - no loading times!
If I remember correctly it was pretty short, but still was challenging to solve.

I really love this game. Best adventure game that came out of Sierra. I completed this one without any walkthroughs.

Nice game. A bit too hard for me back then.

I like the simple graphics in these early Sierra adventure games, this one is good but hard, I like the driving, I wish the game had more of that.

If you can get past the simple graphics, you'll be in for a real treat!

Very good game. I have solved this few times but have to do it again soon...

Trantor, it's not due to bad porting that this game looks like crap. It looks pretty much identical to the PC version. Of course they could (and should) have improved the game for the Amiga, but it's pretty much a direct port.. Nothing more, nothing less. So it's not really a bad port per se

There was always an attraction to these old Sierra games even if they did look dreadful and sounded like a wounded ST. Gameplay was cracking though IMHO and I felt like a true enforcer of the law! Some of the parser was quite annoying but that was overcome eventually. A classic for me.

I really loved playing this game in the early PC days, especially the driving part. Not the same experience that you get when playing the Space Quest games, but still a most entertaining and interesting adventure game from Sierra that comes recommended.

A solid, if at times tedious adventure game. Again, Sierra's poor porting makes it look like crap. Still a solid game though.
