Yeah, winning the brawls was a kind of joystick-killer.

Well hey, this one takes me back. I used to play my brother at this. The main issue I thought was that all the joystick waggling trying to win the rucks and scrums. Any old cheap joystick won't last long when you get excited in this game. *tries his best New Zealand accent* "hey bro, pass it to me bro!"

They rushed this out in time for the event itself, and it feels half-finished. The menus are sparse and poorly presented, which is a shame. The gameplay is too reliant on joystick-waggling for the scrums, the useless AI of your team-mates makes passing the ball a pointless endeavour, and reduces the game to a succession of long kicks and hopeful chases. Okay as a two-player game, but ultimately lacking a lot.
