Space Harrier II is criminally underrated, in general, and on the Amiga. The Amiga version is on par with the Genesis original, barring less music and a bit sloppier palette.

What is this? A sequel of one of the most famous coin-op ever?
I never played the arcade version, but the Amiga (the Megadrive as well) game is ugly and not entertaining at all.
Where all the beautiful enemies and colourful backgrounds are gone? Where is the prequel fantastic variety and catching soundtrack? But, above all, wehre is the catching furious blasting action? For sure NOT here.
This is a poorly realised and totally unispiring pale illusion 3D shooter with no playability published just to cash in. All the levels look exactly the same with only minor differences in the shape of the columns (they're everywhere) and the final bosses while the landscapes are pratically monochromatic (Grandslam did you know that Amiga has 4056 colours palette to choose with ?) and even the soundtrack becomes boring after a couple of minute...
The fantasy land is in crisis? LET IT FALLS and try the original Elite's conversions instead.

Not as good as the first one - Graphics look like they were ported from a Speccy and the gameplay is uninspriring. Why did they bother releasing this? Go play it in the arcades instead!
