Excellent tactical game. However it is much too short - it contains only five missions. However, the game is still worth to be tried if you like the genre.

Very good game but like many people said - too short. Only 5 missions = only 5 days of fun...

It's a great game. Better than any tactical squad-game I know till today.
Why can't they do roundbased games any more. I mean, if I want to have action in my game I go and play a shooter or something ...

Nice game. I think it could be precursor of Jagged Alliance

I remember playing that first jungle level so many times, carefully searching for those last bad guys...great game. UFO-esque in its action phase, possibly better for having the real weapons. Calvert was my favourite guy. Oh, and if you need any better endorsement than all the praise on this forum, look at the average score from Amiga Power- if they don't like a game, it's almost always worth a look.

Oh god. I sooo loved this game, I was about 5 at the time. Was fascinated by all the weapon info screens, and not to mention the sound of the bolt-action rifle going off

Very good, but very short, turn-based game. I loved the tension in those missions, especially when hostages were involved. The death animations are, for some reason, still amongst my favourites.

Hard work and a tough game. Just when you've killed a bunch of bad guys and you think you're getting on top of the situation a screen appears telling you that reinforcements have arrived and lo and behold suddenly you have another twenty bad guys to deal with. You'll probably switch off in frustration shortly after that.

Boring game....

Jagged Alliance's dad. The game may be slow, a bit tedious in places, somewhat clumsy to play and not so pretty to look at but in the end it wins with its tactical proveness and atmosphere. There were many memorable and even surprising moments during varied missions. I think there was supposed to be a mission disk but alas, it was never published.
