DukeNukem 2417 2014-12-08
The music is insanely loud, one of the enemies from this later reappeared in Duke Nukem II, Game 2 is bizarre and Game 3 is actually less annoying than I thought it would be...then again, I only played this on WinUAE, so savestates helped a lot. It's....an interesting concept, to be sure, but not something I'd go back to if given the choice.

A friend bought this for me in the UK and brought it back to Aus... I played it a lot at the time and enjoyed it. Great music, was almost like some kind of demo scene intro with three separate mini games joined together. It was an interesting mix up... But nothing to spectacular!

Savage is one of those games which is close to impossible. It's just an orgy of enemies being thrown at you, while trying to move on towards the finish. Avoid, everyone... Avoid.

I like this a lot - mostly for the music. Level 1 is great. Level 2 is average. Level 3 is totally impossible (although I do remember completing it a very long time ago. SAVAGE!

Good game in the c-64, I liked a lot. In Amiga is really very bad.

Great music and that's about it. Get it in MOD format to listen to it. It's one of those games where the enemies keep respawning in masses and you'll constantly lose energy while trying to move on.

This is a truly great game, everything you need is in there like...hey wait a minute, I took the wrong pills this morning. Nope, absolutely nothing to be found here...take a look at it, go for a shot of something strong and move on.

I remember I really liked this one when I was young... Now that I've seen it again a few years later I don't remember why.

While incredible on the CBM 64 and the Amstrad CPC, this was quite average on the Amiga. Maybe the conversion wasn't spot on, maybe the game itself had what it took to shine on the older 8-bits, but not among the flashier 16-bit efforts, who knows...

This game was a legend for 8 bit computers, but quite grey on 16 bits. With 3 different levels, only the 3th (the eagle one) is brillant, the one with the eagle... But to reach it you have to complete the other 2 "no so brillant" levels.
