Loved this game... Me and my cousin played it for hours!

Fun and cute golf game - use the iron clubs to lob over trees, not the wood ones. 8/10

Not a bad game, based on the cannon fodder engine which leads to a lot of limitations in the gameplay. Its a middlein game, but well worth a shot to see if you like it.

Well Graham I can relate to your comments on the nightmare to develop. I converted it from the Amiga to the PC. I remember thinking it nearly finished and then finally getting an update from Sensible - to see it had been completely redesigned.
One amusing story to share... Virgin asked at very short notice - for a demo that could fit on a floppy containing a few holes of one of the courses. This meant an all nighter to get it ready - to my relief I got it done and mastered on a floppy in time for the courier, so it could get to the publishers. To my horrior I'd left my test sound effects in it - so there were 450,000 floppies given away free with their coke drinks in and around the London area - when playing, if the ball hit a tree, you would hear my voice saying the word 'TREE'. WE don't need to mention what I said when the ball went down the hole ... Sigh! If I remember rightly I think I did get a call from Pete and it didn't go too well!! :-)
As games go - it's the multiplayer side that made this a heap better. Still a good game thou for single player.

One of Sensible's weaker games. It was a nightmare to develop, being constantly delayed and rewritten, and though the end result didn't justify the wait, it's a simple fun game with some mates - it's easy to get into and it is, of course, instantly recognisable as a Sensible game. As a single-player game, it's good for a while but a lack of variety and atmosphere, as well as the extraordinarily difficult putting, means it isn't as good as it should have been.

Only ever played the demo version. Didn't care for it. I usually take to golf games but this just didn't work for me. I'd rather a soccer ball appear on the green. Or...for some real fun I'd like some firearms to appear in my little duffer's hands.

Horribly boring game, but it is the general problem of most golf simulations. What I like is the title song, which is sung, like in Sensible Soccer or Cannon fodder.

Criminally underrated in my opinion! It does have some absolutely horrible bugs though, and I know the Sensible guys really dislike this game for it (as I recall they didn't have the time and money to make it properly before release), but it's still really fun to play with your friends.

Didn't quite rewrite the golf genre, but you gotta love those familiar wee sprites

Underated multiplayer madness.
get some mates round and the beers in, and this game really comes into its own.

"Straight down the hole. You wouldn't believe it." Funny, arcade edition for golf freaks. I love this game!

I really liked this game. It could be downright frustarting at times though and the courses never really changed dramatically. Still, a good little fun golf game that was fun to play on 2 players too.

Very similar to Nintendo's Golf for the Game Boy (from 1989). Very disappointing considering that it was Sensi's last Amiga game that wasn't an update of Sensible Soccer.

Cute, but often annoying and unfair, and not exactly up to Sensible Software's sky-high standards. It was a nice idea, but not perfectly executed.

Very hard to play the game. Not so funny, because it's to hard to learn how to play it...

What a great game to play on cold, silent and sunny winter day...
