SWOS brings the football career to my favourite game. Simply but very well! I started to play it on amiga, continued on PC, finished hundreds of seasons and pulled many teams out of the mud of lower leagues. Just relax...

This is the best footie on Amiga. However I do remember that this version was flawed by not keeping statistics. Version 1.1. Solved this issue.

Great game once it was finished, a shame they released it three months earlier for Christmas. Most of the bugs were later patched out, mind you.

Im actually one of the best in the world at this game and was only 1 win away from playing Jon Hare himself. I can score from anywhere

Still, in 2011, it's the best soccer game. No FIFA, no PES. Nothing can be as addictive as SWOS. It gives you the feeling you really PLAY the game, you don't simply push buttons which do everything on their own...
The best soccer game ever!

The best soccer game now with a manager function. I spent hours and hours on this creating the best Liverpool team since Shankly. Simply brilliant!

This is the greatest game of all time, just give me the original game with updated squads and I'll give my Fifa 09 away.

That was DEFINITIVE. And consider that I hate soccer, I love basketball and I played a lot with the various versions of Kick Off. But when Sensisoccer and its sequels game out, war was over. Simply the greatest soccer game for Amiga, AWESOME if played with a good company.

Yes its a lifestyle. This game is always going to be my favourite soccergame. Kickoff 2 is good but this one is better. This game is immortal

IMO best Amiga football game.
I prefer KickOff gameplay (although Sensi one is very fun as well), but because of the career mode, SWOS is the best to me.

Okay - bugs. One has already been mentioned - another was that your players always went down in value and never up. But it was still bloody good fun.

I loved Sensible Soccer, so I was really looking forward to the addition of the management part & all the new leagues. However, it had some serious bug that prevented you from playing a match with players injured or something, and this was quite fatal... So the 96/97 version (which I never played) seems to be the one to go for.

The best player/manager game for the Amiga. I must have spent 300+ hours taking 3rd division teams to the Premier Leauge

I prefer KO2 for 2 player action - but this for single player action. At Uni when not busy I used to close the curtains and play and entire season. Brilliant. All together now - "you're a goalstar a superstar hero..."

The Sensible Soccer games were probably the most popular on Amiga.

In my honest opinion, this is the best Amiga game of all time (in its 96/97 edition), it has everything where the Amiga stands for: playability, character, love from its creators..
