To all the C64 fanboys, did you know that Spindizzy was released on others systems? CPC, ZX Spectrum, Apple IIc, Atari 8-bits and even Thomson TO/MO. Astonishing!!! Could it be possible that C64 was not the only 8-bit computer in the world?

Spindizzy consisted of a single huge labyrinth, requiring all the diamonds to be collected at once. The exploration of the labyrinth was thus the main stake of this excellent game. But here Paul Shirley goes much further by proposing a division into worlds in clusters offering varied and detailed backgrounds. The gameplay has been greatly improved too. The division into levels allows to vary the gameplay with races against the clock, Pac-man style levels, geometric puzzles, courses that will test your mastery of G.E.R.A.L.D... Paul Shirley didn't lack of good ideas. The game has a save system that was sorely lacking in Spindizzy and you can even unlock the editor that Paul Shirley certainly used to create the game worlds.

Spindizzy Worlds is IMO one of the best 16bits computer games, one of those gems that are already playable nowadays thanks to a perfect gameplay, smart level-design and smooth animation, offering generous features.

Hm, not bad but not good enough. I guess to play "Spindizzy" on C64 is a better choice...

Enjoyable combination of puzzle and action. Doesn't have as much of the surreal otherworldly atmosphere as the C64 predecessor. On the other hand here the graphics are richer in detail and the level themes have much more variation other than changing color. A bit frustrating at times, but I guess that's just part of the Spindizzy charm.

Make sure you activate the unlimited spin cheat.
The game is difficult enough as it is.

Excellent puzzle game for the 1990s. The puzzles were often annoying or difficult yet it was still fun! (9.0/10)

A brilliant puzzle game. To call it a thinking man's Marble Madness would be doing it a huge disservice. It's very tricky and it can be immensley frustrating but it's terrific fun to play and dangerously addictive. It can feel very rewarding when you solve a particularly difficult puzzle, and you always want to see what's coming next. A game that doesn't get the credit it deserves.

Tricky at times but enjoyable. A worthy sequel to the great 8-bit "Spindizzy".

Spindizzy Worlds can only compare poorly with it's C64 cousin. Considering the extra capabilities of the Amiga, the programmers haven't bothered making the Graphics very special. Also the difficulty level needs adjusting as it's too difficult at the start. Could and should have been better!

Nice puzzle & action & adventure game, but the original Spindizzy on the C64 was just sooo cuter. I also didn't like the controls that much, they didn't seem very tight or accurate...

Playing this was great fun despite the simple presentation. The controls work really well. For those who like Super Monkey Ball nowadays!

One game that was not as good as the 64 version, I hated the graphics on the Amiga game compared to the C64 version. Still a playable game though
